Kikau
In 2017 co-founders Lisa and Cameron Nobes saw an opportunity to create a company that they could believe in. A colourful children’s bed linen brand that would bring families together, while making a positive difference to the environment and the community.
Drawing inspiration from Lisa’s family heritage of the Cook Islands, they have created a design company that is focused on creating timeless designs with meaningful family values.
Working with Lisa and Cam we created a new website for Kikau that would showcase their beautiful range of bright coloured children's bed linen. Built on Shopify Kikau can easily market their business, manage inventory, automate fulfilment and make sales online.
A born creative Lisa provided strategic art direction on how she wanted the website to feel and collaboratively we developed a style guide, with a playful colour palette and font selection that was implemented across the website.
Kikau have a few stories to tell to tell; one about their brand; the value their product delivers - encouraging imagination and play in children; and where their products come from.
Kikau have partnered with responsible suppliers to ensure transparent fair and moral practices across the entire supply chain. From seed to seam all our products are organic (GOTS Certified) and Fairtrade global standard approved.
Working together we planned the flow of story telling through the website and designed detailed content pages that would visually represent the story through easy to follow navigation, professional photography, infographics and well written content. Read about the Kikau product journey here.
Pre-Order your kids bed-linen online now. The linen is soft and so fun to use I wish it came in adults sizes too.
We have integrated a cool little tech feature on the product pages that will allows you to personalise your purchase with a child's name on so that you can give it as a gift to your little one.
My favourite product is the Sea Foam Green Quilt Cover I love the contrasting colours teal and orange that will bringing to life any kids room.
